About the Event
In this very special four hour mala making workshop, we will not only learn the traditional practice of mala making, but we will do so in the spirit of connection. Weaving in the theme of CONNECTION in every bead and in every knot, we will learn how to reconnect in healthier ways to the world around us, each other, ourselves, and most importantly to our breath and the present moment. In today’s world, I feel we are in desperate need of more connection, not only with each other, but more importantly, to our own hearts and the highest truth within.
In this class, we will work with a semi-precious gemstone guru bead, as well as high quality authentic Indian sandalwood beads, 100% natural silk, and hand crafted cotton tassels.
Learn how to string and know a traditional Japa Mala of 108 beads.
Learn how to make your own tassel.
Learn how to set intentions within each bead.
Learn how to use your mala in meditation with a 21 day mantra practice.
All materials provided and sustainably harvested. Please be prepared to bead for the entire workshop.
This is a very meditative and calming practice, and requires the full 4 hours to complete the mala.
