About the Event

Hawai’i is a place of healing and deep nourishment. Surrounded by waters, it is the most isolated island chain in the world. Each island has their own magnificence, Oahu has it all, mountains & majestic beaches Lush, tropical hikes all along the north shore including Waimea Falls, Ka’ena Point, Pu’pakea & more. Each day you will be guided through and experience transformative yoga practices that includes deep yoga asana, pranayama, meditation & yoga nidra. This is a gentle style of yoga practice that all are welcome to join.  Props will be available including yoga mats.  Ayurvedic and Yoga Philosophy Talks are included in each day to support and enrich your practice.   Ayurvedic consultations will also be available at an extra cost. Those interested in body work can inquire as well. One can. also use the lecture & practice hours for continuing ed with the Yoga Alliance.
Your Stay with Us
Orchid Oasis is an off-grid livng space. Located in the mountains with bamboo landscaping and fruit trees, your stay will be quiet and peaceful.
We have 3 glamping rooms available for you to choose from, register early to choose your room.

** If you are interested in staying before the retreat and after, please let us know so we can make sure the room is available, you are welcome to stay as long as you like provided we have the space. Â There is a full kitchen for all to share, farmers markets, health food stores are near by. Â We suggust you rent a car if you will be staying before or after the retreat. Â

Please let us know if you have any dietary concerns.  Ghee is use in the cooking.  The community kitchen will be open 24 hours.  Please keep tidy and wash all you use.  There are many farmers markets on the North Shore and Celestial Natural foods in Hale’iwa.
Mary (Shubha) is a certified Life Style Counselor and her experiential teachings support the ancient traditions of Yoga, healing Asana, Tantra and Mantra for the well-being of mind, body and spirit. She is offering these teachings at Open Space Yoga and Ayurveda Hawai'i on Oahu’s North Shore and Hawai'i Kai.
She also teaches the 200RYT/300RYT Hour Teacher Training Courses, which she has established since 2004.
Mary has studied with Dr. David Frawley of the American Institute of Vedic Studies and teaches the institute’s ‘Ayurveda Healing Course’.
She is also studying with Kerala Ayurveda and Jyotisha withDharma Widmann.
